In June 2024, Microsoft faced a potential EU fine after regulators accused it of abusing market power by bundling its Teams video-conferencing app with its Office 365 and Microsoft 365 software. Microsoft was the first company to participate in the PRISM surveillance program, according to leaked NSA documents obtained by The Guardian and The Washington Post in June 2013, and acknowledged by government officials following the leak. This is due to the company being tax resident in Bermuda as mentioned in the accounts for 'Microsoft Round Island One, a subsidiary that collects license fees from the use of Microsoft software worldwide. As reported by several news outlets, an Irish subsidiary of Microsoft based in the Republic of Ireland declared £220 bn in profits but paid no corporation tax for the year 2020. This characterization is derived from the perception that Microsoft provides nearly everything for its employees in a convenient place, but in turn overworks them to a point where it would be bad for their (possibly long-term) health. Frequently criticized are the ease of use, robustness, and security of the Microsoft's software. Among grant recipients from the Asia-Pacific region are the Sri Lankan IT company Fortude, the Thailand-based Vulcan Coalition, and the Indonesian organization Kerjabilitas.
The council’s vision for Knottingley also includes improving the district’s night-time economy, remodelling its business support and diversifying the district’s range of business spaces to encourage companies to relocate to the area. We will return your students’ non-exam assessed work to you after the exams. We will allocate the same moderator to all schools and colleges in the consortium and treat the students as a single group for moderation. Your comments must help the moderator see, as precisely as possible, where you think the students have met the assessment criteria. You will be asked to send a sample of your students' NEA evidence to your moderator. You must send all your students' marks to us by the date given at aqa.org.uk/deadlines . After the moderation period and the deadline for Enquiries about Results (or once any enquiry is resolved) you may return the work to students. You may organise an alternative supervised session for students who were absent at the time you originally arranged.

You can compare your student’s work with the exemplar to determine if it is the same standard, better or worse. When assigning a level you should look at the overall quality of the work rather than any small or specific parts where the student has not performed quite as the level descriptor. The descriptor for the level indicates the different qualities that might be seen casino spanian in the student’s work for that level. Before applying the mark scheme to a student’s project, read it through and annotate it to show the qualities that are being looked for. A recommended strategy is to tackle the critical path early in the project development process. It is recognised that this approach is unsuited to the vast majority of project work, and that project development is likely to be an iterative process, with earlier parts of the project being revisited as a result of discoveries made in later parts.
